Chris Pinckney is a member of the firm’s business and transactional practice group. Chris’ practice focuses on corporate and financial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, structuring and sales contracts.

Chris graduated from Emory University School of Law in May 2020. While in law school, he externed at the Securities and Exchange Commission where he worked in their bankruptcy and securities enforcement divisions. Additionally, Chris externed at the Department of Justice in the US. Trustee Program. During the summer of Chris’s second year in law school, Chris worked for a large firm in Ohio. Additionally, during the summer of his first year in law school, Chris externed as a law clerk for Judge Tabor at the Iowa Court of Appeals.

Prior to law school, Chris graduated from Xavier University, in 2014, earning a bachelor’s degree in economics and Political Science. Prior to enrolling in law school, Chris worked as an accountant for a fortune 500 company. Chris is a member of the Atlanta Bar association and the Gate City Bar Association.
