Reshaun is an Associate in Townsend & Lockett’s Intellectual Property & Litigation Practice Groups. Reshaun focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation with an emphasis on patent infringement, trademark infringement and misappropriation. Reshaun’s litigation experience includes significant motions practice, legal research and writing, deposition preparation and defense, and settlement negotiations. In addition to his intellectual property litigation and prosecution experience, Reshaun supports Townsend & Lockett’s transactional practice drafting intellectual property assignments and related filings, nondisclosure and confidentiality agreements and product development arrangements.
Prior to law school, Reshaun worked as a statistician for the United States Department of Agriculture. During his time with the Department of Agriculture, Reshaun generated complex statistical models using the SAS language to forecast commodity and live stock prices.
Reshaun attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he obtained his B.S. in Computer Science. Mr. Finkley earned his M.S. in Statistics at the University of Georgia and his J.D. at Howard University School of Law. Upon completing law school, Reshaun served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sherry Hutchins-Henderson of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
