Sonya O. Eboigbe

Sonya O. Eboigbe is a corporate Associate in Townsend & Lockett, LLC’s transactional practice. She works on a team that focuses primarily on venture capital funds, private equity funds, and mergers and acquisitions. Sonya’s goal is to provide top-tier innovative ideas and solutions to her client’s ever-changing business and corporate needs.

Sonya was previously a closing attorney, where she represented various financial institutions in nearly 100 real estate transactions totaling over $2,000,000.00. Sonya also examined title defects, reviewed and explained loan packages to buyers, and drafted deeds for individuals and business entities.

Following law school, Sonya worked as a litigation Associate for Edwards & Hawkins, LLC, where she represented a well-known Atlanta- based corporation in defending personal injury matters. During this time, Sonya was also awarded her law school’s Alumni Association Award for Exceptional Diligence in the Study of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the mock trial competition team and served as the vice-chairperson of the mock trial executive board. Before graduating, Sonya was selected as the Best Defense Advocate in the Preliminary Rounds for the 2020 Capitol City Mock Trial Competition held in Washington, D.C.
